The injection process usually takes around 15 minutes and the results are immediate. No allergy skin test is required beforehand and there is virtually no recuperation time. Many of our clients with daytime appointments resume their normal activities immediately following the treatment. JUVÉDERM™ treatments are usually repeated every six to nine months.
JUVÉDERM™ Injectable Gel is available in two formulations – JUVÉDERM™ Ultra for versatility in contouring and volumizing facial wrinkles and folds, and JUVÉDERM™ Ultra Plus, a more robust formulation for volumizing and correcting deeper folds and wrinkles. Perlane®: Long-Lasting Dermal Filler
Perlane® is an injectable cosmetic dermal filler made from hyaluronic acid gel. Our clients choose Perlane® for lip augmentation, to improve the contour of facial skin, decrease unsightly wrinkles and reduce fine lines around the nose, folds, scars and other facial skin depressions. It is made up of larger molecules than other popular fillers, making it ideal for deeper facial depressions.
The injected Perlane® helps to maintain a wrinkle-free face for six to eight months after treatment, making it one of the longest-lasting injectable options available. The procedure generally lasts 30-45 minutes and should be repeated once a year. Because hyaluronic acid is naturally-occuring in the body, an allergy test is not required prior to treatment.
