Dr Albino credentials

I always wanted to be a doctor. Even as a kid, it’s the only profession I ever wanted to pursue. After starting my studies in med school, I realized that plastic surgery is what I love—to hear a patient’s story and work out how to make things better for them, whether that’s making cosmetic changes or restoring their body following cancer or trauma, is a privilege. There’s no greater reward for me than seeing a patient’s confidence and outlook improve after their procedure.”

Education & Training

After graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from Haverford College in Pennsylvania, Dr. Albino earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He was then accepted into the prestigious Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency program at Georgetown University Hospital, a highly competitive six-year program that accepts only the top-performing medical graduates nationwide. After completing his residency as the Administrative Chief Resident, Dr. Albino went on to complete a year-long Microsurgery Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, where he trained in advanced microsurgical techniques for breast reconstruction and other reconstructive procedures.

My residency training at Georgetown provided me with a solid foundation in the full depth and breadth of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery for the face, breast and body. Then, with my Microsurgery Fellowship, I had the opportunity to refine my techniques in tissue FLAP breast reconstruction and achieve even better results for my patients.
