Juvéderm VOLUMA® XC Volumizing Injections
Volume loss in the mid-face is one of the main culprits when it comes to facial aging. By contributing to drooping skin and drawing attention to other signs of aging, this loss of subcutaneous fatty tissue can lead to some unwelcome changes in your appearance. Juvéderm VOLUMA® is the first and only FDA-approved injectable treatment for replacing lost volume specifically in the cheeks.
Natural, Long-Lasting Results
VOLUMA is specially formulated with hyaluronic acid to lift and contour your cheeks, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles and reducing the appearance of hollowness. Hyaluronic acid naturally occurs in the human body and provides moisture to the skin. With age, your body’s supply of hyaluronic acid is depleted, resulting in loss of volume, reduced skin elasticity, and less firmness. By replenishing lost hyaluronic acid, VOLUMA effectively restores a youthful contour and revitalizes the entire mid-face.
What to Expect from Your VOLUMA Treatment
The VOLUMA solution is a smooth and colorless gel that contains a mild anesthetic, ensuring your treatment is comfortable. Our registered nurse injector will skillfully place injections in the three areas of the cheek (apex, apple, and hollow) to achieve your desired results. Treatment typically takes between 10 – 20 minutes and you can resume normal activity as soon as you leave our office. Results are immediate and can last up to two years.
