Center for Plastic Surgery Specialty Facials
Genetics, lifestyle habits, and outside influences such as the weather can all work to negatively impact the health and appearance of your skin. If you’re noticing that your facial skin is dull, dry, or breaking out, the Center for Plastic Surgery skincare staff can help! Our specialty facial treatments are designed to address a number of skin concerns and give you healthy, rejuvenated skin.
Fire & Ice Facial
The Fire & Ice Facial is our most popular facial at CPS, and with good reason! This intensive facial is designed to efficiently and effectively resurface the skin in order to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, smooth and soften skin texture, and prompt cellular renewal.
We begin by applying a resurfacing masque (“fire”) that combines a powerful mixture of glycolic acid, retinol, vitamins, and antioxidants to remove old, dry skin. Next, we follow with the “ice” stage by applying a soothing masque made of hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, green tree extract, and peppermint to cool and hydrate the skin. The results are a beautiful, refined complexion without the downtime or side effects of more invasive treatments. The Fire & Ice Facial is a great option for all skin types and ages.
We offer a number of add-on options that can optimize your treatment results.
We often recommend our enzyme treatment as an add-on to other facial treatment options. Enzymes are helpful to your body because they boost the chemical reactions that regularly occur. When used on the skin, they can quickly and effectively break down keratin, which is normally present in the layer of dead skin cells on top of the skin. This treatment can further enhance your results by helping to reduce peeling skin and remove dead skin build-up.
Collagen is a very important protein that gives your skin strength and elasticity. Unfortunately, it can become less commonly produced by the body as you age. A collagen mask serves to moisturize your skin, minimize pores, and replenish lost collagen to increase skin’s softness and elasticity
Similar to the freezing techniques used in CoolSculpting, this treatment uses dry ice to reduce puffiness and leave the skin more taut and youthful-looking. It can also be highly effective in removing acne because of its freezing effect that can unclog pores and destroy unwanted skin cells.
