This gallery showcases a patient’s transformative journey through nipple-sparing mastectomies followed by a two-stage breast reconstruction. In the before images, the patient presents with natural breast tissue prior to surgery. The after photos, taken following the completion of reconstruction, highlight the aesthetic results of preserving the natural nipple-areola complex while restoring breast volume and contour through a staged approach.
In the first stage, temporary tissue expanders were placed to gradually prepare the chest for permanent implants. In the second stage, the expanders were replaced with long-term implants, refining shape and symmetry. The preservation of the nipples allows for a more natural and familiar appearance post-reconstruction, and the final results reflect both the surgical precision and individualized care taken throughout the process.
Each patient’s body and healing process is unique, and this gallery offers a glimpse into one successful example of modern breast reconstruction techniques aimed at achieving both physical and emotional restoration.
