How J-Plasma Can Tighten Your Lax Skin

Are you tired of living with lax areas of skin that just won’t seem to snap back, despite diet and exercise? If this sounds like you, you’re not alone. Many individuals deal with sagging skin on many areas of their body due to pregnancy, weight loss, or the natural aging process. While in the past surgical procedures were the only options, there are now nonsurgical and minimally-invasive alternatives to help you achieve smoother, more youthful-looking skin. J-Plasma is one of these treatments, which is now available at CPS!

What is J-Plasma?

J-Plasma is a minimally-invasive treatment that tightens the skin for a more youthful look. It works by combining the unique properties of cold helium plasma with the efficiency of radio-frequency, using a gentle waveform to convert helium, an inert gas, into a cold atmospheric plasma. The result is energy that’s unique in its ability to provide tissue heating and cooling almost simultaneously.  J-Plasma can be used on almost any area of the body, including the face, neck, arms, back, breasts, abdomen, and thighs.

During the treatment, small incision only 5mm in length will be made in the treatment areas, and the J-Plasma device will be inserted underneath the skin to perform the procedure.  Small stitches are used to close the incisions, resulting in virtually no scarring in the area.

What are the Benefits of J-Plasma?

J-Plasma offers many benefits to patients who are looking to rejuvenate their skin.  There are no large incisions or scarring involved, and downtime is minimal.

What Kind of Results Can I Expect?

After a J-Plasma treatment, some results may be visible, though results will only continue to improve over time, with final results noticeable after a year. Some mild swelling and bruising may occur, but makeup can easily be used to cover these side-effects. Most patients can return to normal activities in a few days.
