Build Muscle With CoolTone™

Build Muscle with CoolTone™ near Washington D.C.

During your fitness journey, there may come a time when your efforts begin to plateau. Those last few pounds stubbornly hang on and trouble spots just won’t shrink.

If you’re struggling to reach your body goals, you’re not alone—our practice is here to help with treatments like CoolTone™. This innovative, go-to body contouring treatment helps Washington, DC, men and women build muscle definition.

What is CoolTone? What happens during a treatment session?

CoolTone is a nonsurgical muscle toning treatment brought to you by the creators of CoolSculpting®. During treatment, a paddle-like device is attached to your target area while you recline in a comfortable bed. Electromagnetic energy is then used to stimulate contractions in the targeted muscles. The sensation is similar to a strong twitch as each muscle is repeatedly activated. Much like a regular workout, this process builds muscle tone.

What is the difference between CoolTone and CoolSculpting?

While CoolTone and CoolSculpting are made by the same company, these treatments aren’t the same. CoolTone targets muscle groups and strengthens tissues by causing them to contract repeatedly. CoolSculpting, on the other hand, freezes away fat cells by exposing them to controlled cool temperatures.

Whereas CoolSculpting is solely a fat reduction treatment, CoolTone builds muscle. There is also a shorter waiting time between CoolTone treatment sessions, allowing you to see your results sooner than you would with CoolSculpting.

How long is recovery after CoolTone?

As a nonsurgical treatment, there is no required downtime after a CoolTone session. You can return to work or any other daily activities immediately after treatment. You may feel a bit sore for the rest of the day, just as you would after an intensive workout. This discomfort can easily be treated with over-the-counter pain medication or a bit of restful sleep.

How long do CoolTone results last?

Your results can be seen around 2 to 4 weeks after your final CoolTone session. You will see an improvement in muscle definition for up to 6 months after. To maintain your results for as long as possible, follow a healthy diet and consistent exercise routine. You can also schedule additional CoolTone sessions if you ever desire touch-up treatments.
